Bruce lives in the foothills of the Sandia Mountains in Northeast Albuquerque.  He can be found hiking in the mountains behind his home with his dog, Max, on most mornings…before sunrise.  He is senior pastor of Faith Lutheran Church.  He and his wife, Kirsten, met while in college in Decorah, Iowa.  They have four daughters, sons-in-law and two grandsons.  Bruce’s avocations include guitar, piano, writing, reading, hiking and training as a “hunter athlete” on a year round basis in preparation for hunting big game in the fall with his bow and arrows.  He is a member of the Board of Directors of the New Mexico Wildlife Federation and the Ben Pearson Archery Pro Staff Team.
